Iranian Ambassador to Kabul, Alireza Bigdali, met with Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss key bilateral issues, including the situation of Afghan refugees in Iran.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on resolving challenges faced by Afghan refugees, strengthening bilateral relations, and addressing other important matters of mutual interest.
Dr. Naeem described the relationship between Afghanistan and Iran as historic and deep-rooted. He expressed gratitude for Iran’s continued hospitality toward Afghan refugees and its support for the Islamic Emirate, voicing hope for the sustained development of these ties.
Ambassador Bigdali, referencing the recent visit of Iran’s Foreign Minister to Afghanistan, called it a significant step toward deepening cooperation and reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to providing comprehensive support to Afghanistan.
