Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Wednesday, 11/9/1446, corresponding to 2/17/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

263 families returned to the country through Torkham and 1800 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Temporary agreement Committee

196 families were temporarily settled in the Torkham Omari camp today.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 815 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

200 families with 1125 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and registered them.

Transportations committee

176 families with 997 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Herat, Paktika, Paktia, Ghazni and Kabul and (993300) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (3494000) Afghanis have been provided to 414 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

159 families have been temporarily settled in Spin Boldak.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 1002 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 217 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 151 SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees by the Communications Services Authority, which also includes free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

223 families with 999 members have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroze province and registered, and 1526 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1704,000) Afghanis have been provided to 217 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

100 families have been temporarily resettled in Nimroz.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The Communications and Information Technology authorities distributed 223 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Paktika

Angoor Ada (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

3 families with 30 members have returned to the country and registered through Paktika Angoor Ada.

Transportations committee

4 families with 22 members have been safely transferred to Ghazni from Angor Ada and (7,000) Afghanis have been paid as rent.

Temporary agreement Committee

4 families have been settled in a temporary camp in Paktika Angoor Ada.

Helmand

Bahramcha

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

28 families with 151 members have returned to the country and registered through Bahramcha.

These families have been transferred to their areas and have also been provided with cash assistance.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 251 families with 873 members have been returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1820,000) Afghanis have been provided to 250 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

137 families with 666 members have been safely transferred from Kabul to Ghazni, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Baghlan, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan, Kunduz and other provinces, and (424,900) Afghanis have also been provided to these families as rent.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (968) families and (4978) individuals

Transferred refugees: (317) families and (1685) individuals

Assisted refugees: (881) families

Temporarily settled refugees: (459) families

SIM cards distributed: (1189) units
