Mawlawi Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, the Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tehran, met with Seyed Taghi Qaimi, Deputy Head of Iran’s Center for Citizens and Foreign Refugees Affairs, to discuss issues facing Afghan refugees in Iran.
According to the Afghan Embassy in Tehran, the meeting focused on refugee-related concerns, particularly the payment process for health insurance for holders of the Amaish residency cards.
Both sides also exchanged views on improving support and services for Afghan migrants living in Iran.
