Dr. Mirdaf Al-Qashouti, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Kabul, held a meeting with Shaikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani, Minister of Information and Culture, to discuss the strengthening of cultural relations and the expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Qatari Ambassador reaffirmed Qatar’s readiness to cooperate in programs aimed at enhancing the capacity of Afghan youth, noting that civilization and culture constitute an important foundation for strengthening relations between nations.
For his part, Shaikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani stated that Afghanistan and Qatar maintain long-standing friendly relations, emphasizing that the expansion of cultural cooperation is important for both countries.
He further noted that the Ministry of Information and Culture is implementing various programs aimed at enhancing the capacity of Afghan youth, stressing that cooperation from friendly countries in this regard is highly valuable.
