During his visit to Iran, Public Health Minister Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali met with officials from the Children’s Medical Center and Hakim Children’s Hospital to strengthen healthcare cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, discussions focused on signing agreements to train Afghan health professionals in advanced fields such as bone marrow transplantation, nephrology, cardiology, and other medical subspecialties. The parties also explored establishing formal cooperation between Iranian and Afghan government hospitals for the treatment of pediatric diseases.
Officials from both Iranian hospitals pledged comprehensive support and collaboration to enhance healthcare services in Afghanistan.
