On the sidelines of the 51st session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, Afghan Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and addressed key regional issues.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized the importance of ties with Afghanistan and expressed Turkey’s commitment to strengthening cooperation across various sectors.
For his part, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi highlighted Turkey’s special role in the foreign policy of the Islamic Emirate and stressed the need to further expand bilateral cooperation to elevate relations between the two nations.
