Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Sunday, 14/3/1447, corresponding to 16/6/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

1080 families with 6607 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (8246000) Afghanis were provided to 1057 families by the Financial management Committee.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

145 families with 717 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1192 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transprtations committee

32 families with 161 members from Nimroze have been safely transported to Kandahar, Farah and Kabul, and (176,000) fares have been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1,174,000) Afghanis have been provided to 138 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 803 returned refugees have been treated on the Abrishom way.

Communications: 145 SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees on the Abrishom way.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

132 families with 749 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transporations committee

280 families with 1575 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar, Herat, Zabul, Nimroz, Helmand, Farah, and Kabul, and (1768500) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1460000) Afghanis have been provided to 171 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 2414 food items, bread, and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 137 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Communications Services Authority, free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

(L1230 families returned to the country through Torkham and 7698 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Financial management Committee

A total of (14414000) Afghanis have been provided to 1747 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 1396 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Helmand

Bahramcha (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

11 families with 63 members have returned to the country and registered through Bahramcha.

Transportations committee

9 families with 80 members from Bahramcha, Helmand have been safely transported to Lashkar Gah and Garmsir, and the families have also been paid (54,500) Afghani for rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (132,000) Afghanis have been provided to 17 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

884 families with 4,653 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Faryab, Baghlan, Jawzjan, Kunduz, Balkh, Sar-e-Pul, Khost, Kandahar, Samangan, Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak and Ghazni, and (3,529,570) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (2598) families and (15834) individuals

Transferred refugees: (1205) families and (6469) individuals

Assisted refugees: (3130) families

Distributed SIM cards: (1678) units
