Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a farewell meeting with Cenk Ünal, the Ambassador of Turkey in Kabul.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed bilateral and regional issues, as well as the expansion of political and economic relations between the two countries.
Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi expressed appreciation for Turkey’s extensive efforts in hosting the negotiations between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
He also thanked Cenk Ünal for his services in Afghanistan and for strengthening relations between the two countries, wishing him success in his future diplomatic assignments.
For his part, Cenk Ünal expressed satisfaction with the support and cooperation provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
