Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, met with Mehdi Pirsalehi, Deputy Minister of Health of Iran and Head of the Food and Drug Administration, as well as Ali-Reza Beikdeli, Iran’s Ambassador to Afghanistan.
During the meeting, the Iranian Deputy Health Minister stated that Iran is ready to expand long-term cooperation with Afghanistan in the production of medicines and medical equipment, as well as increasing exports to Afghanistan.
The Deputy Prime Minister assured that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the relevant authorities will provide full cooperation in this regard.
