Mawlawi Sadr Azam Osmani, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock at the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, met with Ms. Doyle Mukherjee, Deputy Director of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Afghanistan.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, the meeting discussed the progress of the Hesarak Irrigation Project in Nangarhar province as well as UNDP’s development programs for Afghanistan in 2026.
The two sides emphasized the importance of coordination between the Ministry and the organization and agreed to establish a joint technical committee to hold regular meetings, ensure program coordination, and maintain close cooperation to advance ongoing activities
