Hafiz Aziz-ur-Rahman, Deputy of the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), held a meeting with Muhammad Al-Shamma, head of the Danish Red Cross in Afghanistan, and Thomas, Deputy of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), to discuss expanding cooperation in the care and treatment of mental health patients.
The ARCS said that during the meeting, its deputy highlighted the importance of international humanitarian support in providing better and broader services to mental health patients and requested cooperation from the participants to assist these patients.
The IOM deputy in Afghanistan assured that the organization would provide necessary support and collaborate with the Afghan Red Crescent Society in the care and treatment of mental health patients.
