Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, said 15 projects were approved at the Economic Commission meetings last year.
According to Mr. Mujahid, these projects include:
1: Construction of Herat Roof Recreation Complex in Herat Province
2: Draft National Development Strategy
3: Draft Mining Sector Revenue Policy
4: Self-sufficiency policies and plans in key economic sectors
5: Economic Policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
6: Five-year tax exemption for investors building cold storages
7: Draft Mineral Processing and Export Policy
8: 10 Investment projects worth 2 billion 274 million Afghanis
9: Contracts for power generation and transmission projects with an investment of 20.7 billion Afghanis
10: Signing of agreement to generate 10,000 MW of electricity with $10 billion investment in Afghanistan
11: Signing of contracts for four power projects with an investment of $243 million with Uzbekistan
12: Signing of the mechanism for financing public projects
13: Signing of agreements and contracts for power generation with a capacity of 9 thousand 407 MW
14: Approval of 57 test standards and procedures in the petroleum sector
15: Signing of contracts for electricity supply projects to Qosh Tepa and Darzab districts of Jawzjan province
