Daily Work Report of the Committees
On Sunday, 1447/7/21, corresponding to 1404/10/21, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.
The full report is presented as follows:
Herat
Islam Qala
Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee
8 families with 28 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.
Financial management Committee
A total of (56,000) Afghanis were provided to 8 families by the Financial management Committee.
Nimroze
Abrishom way
Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee
42 families with 153 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 631 travelers have also returned to the country.
Financial management Committee
A total of (8,000) Afghanis have been provided to 1 family by the Financial management Committee.
Services and Health Affairs Committee
The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:
Health: 389 migrants returning from the Silk Road have been treated.
Communications: 1 SIM card, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, was distributed to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way.
Information and Public Awareness Committee
Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.
Kandahar
Spin Boldak (Durand Line)
Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee
38 families with 204 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.
Transportations committee
9 families with 52 members have been safely transferred from Spin Boldak to different provinces and (135,000) Afghanis have been paid as rent.
Financial management Committee
A total of (312,000) Afghanis have been provided to 37 families by the Financial management Committee.
Services and Health Affairs Committee
The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:
Food: 670 food parcels, bread and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.
Communications: 34 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.
Nangarhar
Torkham (Durand Line)
Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee
260 families returned to the country through Torkham and 1431 members of these families have been registered and biometrically scanned.
Financial management Committee
A total of (380,200,000) Afghanis have been provided to 463 families by the Financial management Committee.
Services and Health Affairs Committee
The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:
Communications: 204 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.
Information and Public Awareness Committee
Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, and education.
A series of writings are also underway in Torkham for the purpose of public awareness.
Kabul
Center
Transportations committee
131 families with 677 members from Kabul have been safely transported to different provinces and (544,200) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.
Refugee Permanent agreement and Land Distribution Committee
The distribution of land plots to forcibly returned refugees in different provinces of the country for permanent settlement in refugee settlements is underway:
1- 65 families in Behsud khanaki township, Nangarhar province, of which 102 families have been distributed land plots so far.
2- In Baba Sahib Township, Laghman Province, 39 families have been distributed land plots, out of a total of 637 families so far
3- In Muhajireen Township, Kunar Province, 40 families have been distributed land plots.
4- In Bamian Province, 114 families have been distributed land plots.
5- In Zheri District, Kandahar Province, 450 families have been distributed land plots.
6- In Balkh Province, 313 families have been distributed land plots.
7- In Khwaja Kaftar Township, Kunduz Province, 20 families have been distributed land plots, out of a total of 600 families so far.
The total figures of the different activities of all committees are as follows:
Registered refugees: (348) families and (1816) individuals
Refugees transferred: (140) families and (729) individuals
Refugees assisted: (509) families
SIM cards distributed: (239) numbers
Land plots distributed so far: (2256) families
