H.E. Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, chaired the regular meeting of the Economic Commission today.
The meeting reviewed a range of economic matters, including the reactivation of the Shoorab civilian airport and its cold storage facility in Helmand Province, enforcement of regulations governing cargo vehicle operations, establishment of installment schedules for industrial park land pricing, provincial classification of industrial park lands, and the provision of tax incentives to encourage new investment and create employment opportunities for Afghan citizens.
Following deliberations, committees were formed to conduct comprehensive assessments of the discussed issues and submit their findings to the Economic Commission within the designated timelines.
At the conclusion of the meeting, reports on several follow-up matters were presented and approved, with instructions issued to the relevant authorities for implementation. The approved decisions were subsequently forwarded to the Office of His Highness the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah Almighty protect him) for final endorsement
