Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi held talks with Rosemary DiCarlo, UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, on engagement between the Islamic Emirate and the United Nations, coordination efforts, and meetings under the Doha Process.
During the meeting, Mr. Muttaqi stressed the need to lift banking restrictions and release Afghanistan’s frozen assets to support the private sector and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance.
