In the month of Jaddi (Dec 22 to Jan 22) of the current year, the Directorate of Identity Verification and Archive Regulation of the National Statistics and Information Authority provided identity verification and paper ID cards validation services, both in person and remotely, to 234,644 individuals.
Of these, 2,052 paper tazkiras were verified in person, while 6,256 additional tazkiras were verified remotely for Afghan nationals residing abroad. In addition, the identities of 226,336 individuals were verified.
