he Governor of Herat, Shaikh Noor Ahmad Islamjar, met with the Governor of Iran’s Khorasan Razavi province, Gholam Hossein Mozaffari, at the Zero Point border crossing to discuss strengthening bilateral trade relations.
According to the media office of the Herat provincial government, the meeting focused on expanding trade and transit facilities, increasing the movement of vehicles, accelerating the transportation of commercial goods, and addressing existing challenges faced by traders.
During the meeting, Governor Islamjar stressed the importance of trade and economic cooperation between the two sides and called for the provision of greater facilities to support traders and transit operations.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Khorasan Razavi reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation and improving trade procedures at the Islam Qala port.
