A meeting of the Commission for the Collection of Beggars and the Prevention of Begging was held under the chairmanship of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.
During the meeting, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund said that as a result of the commission’s efforts, a large number of beggars have been collected from Kabul city, and monthly cash assistance has been provided to those who are eligible.
He seriously instructed members of the commission to properly implement the “Procedure of the Commission for the Collection of Beggars and the Prevention of Begging,” which has been approved by the Honorable Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him).
