Shaikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, met with Mr. Makhmud Khamidov, Head of the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Center (CARICC), and Azizbek Erkaboev, Advisor to the agency.
According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs, during the meeting, Shaikh Abdul Rahman Munir emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan maintains comprehensive cooperation with neighboring countries and Central Asian states in combating narcotics. He also called for enhanced collaboration with CARICC officials to strengthen joint anti-drug efforts.
CARICC representatives, in turn, stated that they are working to improve coordination and cooperation with the Islamic Emirate in the fight against drug trafficking, aiming for more effective outcomes.
