Secretariat of the High Commissions to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Friday, 18/8/1447, corresponding to 17/11/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

494 families returned to the country through Torkham and 2734 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

694 families with 3888 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul, and (3088200) Afghanis have also been paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (6238000) Afghanis have been provided to 745 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 551 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

107 families with 589 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportations committee

50 families with 293 members have been safely transferred from Spin Boldak to different provinces and these families have also been given (260,200) Afghani as rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (878,000) Afghani has been provided to 105 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 700 food parcels and water were distributed in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 90 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

14 families with 47 members returned to the country and registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (94,000) Afghanis were provided to 14 families by the Financial management Committee.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

19 families with 69 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 714 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (420,000) Afghanis have been provided to 6 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 511 migrants returning from the Silk Road have been treated.

Communications: 6 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Transportations committee

Kabul

19 families with 102 members from Kabul have been safely transported to different provinces and these families have also been given (123,000) Afghani as rent.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (634) families and (3439) individuals

Transferred refugees: (763) families and (4283) individuals

Assisted refugees: (820) families SIM cards distributed: (647)
