Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy to the Prime Minister, attended an iftar reception organized by the General Directorate of the Office of the Prime Minister for media officials.
During the gathering, media representatives raised a number of issues and requests, particularly concerning broadcasting frequencies and outstanding tax obligations.
On the occasion, Mr. Hanafi expressed appreciation for the role of media officials in effectively carrying out their professional duties, particularly in highlighting the progress and achievements of the Islamic Emirate, ensuring timely dissemination of information, and providing coverage and reports on natural disasters, returning migrants, and other matters of national importance.
He further assured the media representatives that their requests and proposals would be conveyed to the relevant authorities for appropriate consideration.
