Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, held a phone call with Dato’ Mohammad Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, to discuss the regional situation, particularly Pakistan’s military aggression against Afghanistan.
According to Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, the Prime Minister expressed concern over the regional situation and condemned the violation of national borders and attacks on civilians.
Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund emphasized that Afghanistan believes in resolving issues through dialogue and negotiation but considers defending its land and people a legitimate right in case of aggression.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Prime Minister expressed hope that the ongoing crisis can be resolved through dialogue and stated that his country seeks to play a role in fostering understanding between the parties.
