Strong Reactions from Afghanistan National Cricket Team Players to Last Night’s Attack by the Pakistani Military Regime!

Afghanistan national cricket team player Rashid Khan expressed profound sorrow over the recent airstrikes carried out by the Pakistani military regime in Kabul, strongly condemning the attacks in unequivocal terms.

He described the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of civilians in these strikes as a grave and deeply alarming incident. He further stated that the targeting of civilian residences, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities—whether deliberate or accidental—constitutes a serious violation of international law and amounts to a war crime.

In addition, Rashid Khan emphasized that the disregard for innocent lives, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, is deeply distressing. He noted that such actions contribute to division and hostility rather than stability.

He called upon the United Nations and relevant human rights organizations to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident and to ensure accountability for those responsible. Reaffirming his position, he stated that he stands with his nation during these difficult circumstances and shares in the sorrow of the people. He offered prayers for the martyrs and wished a full recovery for the wounded, adding that Afghans will once again rise as one united nation.

Similarly, national team player Mohammad Nabi Eisakhil expressed deep sorrow over the attack carried out by the Pakistani military regime on a drug treatment hospital in Kabul, stating that the incident extinguished the lights of hope.

He noted that the young individuals who had been placed in the hospital by their families in hopes of treatment and a new life lost their lives under the shadow of the bombardment.

According to him, mothers and relatives gathered at the hospital gates, awaiting information about their loved ones. He added that these individuals were expected by their families to return to normal life; however, their lives ended in the bombardment carried out by the Pakistani military regime on the 28th night of Ramadan. He described the incident as profoundly tragic and expressed solidarity with the victims’ families.

Meanwhile, national team player Naveen-ul-Haq stated that it is extremely difficult to identify any clear distinction between the Pakistani military regime and Israel.

At the same time, Ibrahim Zadran expressed deep sorrow over the attack on a drug treatment hospital in Kabul carried out by the Pakistani military regime. He stated that individuals who had gone to the hospital for treatment with the hope of recovery, as well as those intending to fast the following day, are now either no longer with us or have been injured.

He described them as vulnerable civilians and affirmed that the attack is in violation of international principles. He also extended his condolences to the victims’ families and emphasized the need for condemnation of such attacks.

Furthermore, national team player Noor Ahmad Lakanwal expressed deep sorrow regarding the recent airstrikes on a healthcare facility in Kabul. He stated that attacks on hospitals and medical centers—places where people seek treatment and safety—are alarming and unacceptable.

He added that such incidents must be thoroughly investigated and that those responsible must be held accountable.

He stressed that innocent people must never become victims of conflict and urged the international community and human rights organizations to promptly investigate the incident and ensure accountability.
