The Afghanistan Cricket Board has strongly condemned last night’s brutal attack carried out by the Pakistani military regime on a drug treatment hospital in Kabul.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board stated that those who were awaiting the joy of Eid are now mourning with their families. They had hoped to begin a healthy and normal life; however, the enemies of humanity destroyed all their hopes.
The Board added that, without doubt, the Pakistani military regime committed a major crime on the night of Laylat al-Qadr during the holy month of Ramadan, taking the lives of hundreds of people, and emphasized that the world must not remain silent on this matter.
The leadership, players, and staff of the Afghanistan Cricket Board strongly condemn this attack, pray for the martyrs to attain a high status in Paradise, and extend prayers for patience and endurance to their families.
Similarly, former South African cricketer Hashim Amla expressed sorrow over the attack carried out by the Pakistani military regime last night on a hospital for drug patients in Kabul, stating that he was deeply saddened by the incident in which hundreds of innocent civilians were affected.
He described witnessing such actions during the sacred month of Ramadan as deeply painful, and prayed that Almighty Allah grant patience to the families of the martyrs and a swift recovery to the injured.
Hashim Amla further emphasized that bombing innocent civilians during war constitutes a major crime and expressed hope that reason and humanity will prevail in such incidents.
Likewise, international cricket commentator Devendra Kumar stated regarding last night’s attack by the Pakistani military regime that everyone must stand together in solidarity and speak with one voice against such actions.
He said that the aggression occurred at a time when the people of Kabul were awaiting the New Year and the celebration of Eid, and that the incident has deeply saddened all Afghans.
