Mujib-ur-Rahman Omar Akhundzada, Deputy Minister of Water at Afghanistan’s Ministry of Water and Energy, traveled to Uzbekistan to participate in the Tashkent International Water Week Forum.
The Ministry of Water and Energy stated that the forum will address key topics including sustainable water resource management, climate change impacts, and equitable water distribution.
During the forum, Mr. Akhundzada will share Afghanistan’s water sector achievements and is expected to hold high-level meetings to strengthen regional cooperation.
