Following recent attacks by the Pakistani military regime in Kunar province, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul and formally handed over a note of protest.
In a statement, the Ministry strongly condemned the violation of Afghanistan’s airspace and attacks against civilians, describing them as a clear breach of the country’s territorial integrity, inconsistent with international principles, and a provocative act.
The statement added that the Islamic Emirate categorically rejects Pakistan’s claims alleging that violence originates from Afghanistan, emphasizing that the root causes of the situation must be thoroughly examined.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further reiterated that the Islamic Emirate reserves its legitimate right to defend its territory and people, warning that the repetition of such actions will have serious consequences.
