The Ministry of Information and Culture announced that during the solar year 1404, the Book Evaluation Commission reviewed 370 newly authored book titles and assessed 15,525 imported and exported books.
According to the Ministry, 929 books that did not comply with established principles and standards were collected from private bookstores.
The Ministry further stated that the Directorate for the Protection of Authors’ Rights allocated International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN) to 700 books.
