Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, Minister of Higher Education, and the accompanying delegation held talks with Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, on economic, trade, academic, and technical cooperation.
Mr. Nadeem also proposed the deployment of Tatarstan professors to Afghanistan to teach at Afghan universities, stating that such a step would contribute significantly to strengthening academic relations.
The President of Tatarstan stated that Russian companies, including KamAZ and helicopter-related firms, previously had successful operational experience in Afghanistan and should once again be provided opportunities to resume activities in the country.
