Following flash floods and rising water levels of the Amu River in Badakhshan province, national air force personnel conducted a rescue operation, evacuating 50 flood-affected individuals through six helicopter flights using MI-17 aircraft.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the operation was carried out in areas along the Amu River, and the rescued individuals were transferred to the 4th Battalion of the 14th Brigade and to Fayzabad city.
