The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments has announced the start of the return process for Afghan pilgrims from Saudi Arabia following the completion of the Hajj pilgrimage.
According to the ministry, nearly 30,000 Afghan pilgrims will be transported back to Afghanistan in two phases through four air corridors serving Kabul, Balkh, Kandahar, and Herat.
The first return flight arrived today at Kabul International Airport from Jeddah, carrying 346 pilgrims from Nangarhar province, accompanied by seven Hajj instructors.
The ministry added that the transfer of all Afghan pilgrims will be carried out through 97 scheduled flights and is expected to be completed within the next 30 days.
