Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi held a telephone conversation with Rosemary DiCarlo, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed the delivery of humanitarian assistance to vulnerable Afghans and ways to improve the effectiveness of aid distribution across the country.
Ms. DiCarlo welcomed the facilities and support provided for humanitarian operations in Afghanistan, noting their importance in ensuring the efficient delivery of assistance to those in need.
During the conversation, both sides underscored the importance of maintaining mutual understanding, constructive engagement, and continued cooperation between Afghanistan and the United Nations.
