Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health, met with Dr. Tajuddin Avila, UNICEF Country Director for Afghanistan, and his accompanying delegation to discuss ongoing collaboration in the health sector.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation, expanding coordination, and enhancing the monitoring of health services and activities carried out by implementing partners across the country.
Dr. Avila reaffirmed UNICEF’s commitment to supporting Afghanistan’s health sector and assured the Ministry of Public Health of UNICEF’s continued cooperation. He also emphasized the importance of sustained coordination and joint efforts to improve health services for the Afghan people.
