Syed Karim Hashemi, Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, met with leaders and members of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi to discuss strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
The talks focused on expanding bilateral trade, attracting joint investments, promoting technology transfer, enhancing industrial cooperation, and increasing engagement between the private sectors of Afghanistan and India.
Highlighting Afghanistan’s investment potential, Hashemi invited Indian businesses to invest in the country. The Indian Chamber expressed its readiness to cooperate in the pharmaceutical, logistics, transportation, and manufacturing sectors and announced plans to send a 20-member trade delegation to Afghanistan in the near future.
