Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, announced that the aggressive Pakistani regime bombed residential areas in Gayan district of Paktika province, Chamkani district of Paktia province, and Manura district of Kunar province last night.
According to him, dozens of civilians, including women and children, have been martyred and wounded in these attacks.
Mr. Mujahid strongly condemned these attacks and described them as a “crime” and a “brutal action.”
After these attacks Former U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad has strongly condemned Pakistan’s overnight airstrikes in Afghanistan, saying they resulted in civilian casualties.
In a post on X, Mr. Khalilzad stated that despite repeated calls from various countries and many voices within Pakistan to resolve differences through dialogue, Pakistan once again chose military action over negotiations. He said the strikes caused the deaths and injuries of Afghan civilians.
