Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has expressed his condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the family of the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, as well as the government and people of Qatar following the former emir’s passing.
In his message, Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund praised Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani’s role in hosting the Afghanistan–US peace talks, describing it as a historic and lasting contribution to ending Afghanistan’s long-running conflict.
