Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Vahid Jalalzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, to discuss improving consular services, bilateral relations, and border cooperation.
Mr. Muttaqi described Afghanistan-Iran relations as progressing and emphasized that consular services should be provided in a simple, efficient, and timely manner in accordance with accepted standards.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of enhancing consular coordination between the two countries and expressed hope that continued consultations with Afghan officials would contribute to more effective management of consular affairs.
