Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Mawlawi Ataullah Omari met with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Jamshid Khajayev, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in agriculture, exploring investment opportunities, and implementing joint agricultural projects.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Khajayev expressed Uzbekistan’s interest in investing in Afghanistan’s agricultural sector.
He emphasized his country’s readiness to cooperate in agricultural production, the processing of agricultural products, and the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the agricultural sectors of both countries.
