A regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held on August 4, 2026, at the Marmarin Palace.
During the meeting, a proposal for the construction of a 3,000-unit residential township in the Dashte Abdan area of Kunduz Province was presented for discussion.
Given its necessity and economic significance, the proposal was considered important and referred to the designated committee to conduct a comprehensive evaluation, taking into account all technical and financial aspects, and to submit its report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the specified timeframe.
The meeting also discussed a proposal for the construction of a commercial and residential complex in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh Province. The proposal was referred to the designated committee for a comprehensive assessment, with the committee tasked to submit its report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee on the scheduled date.
