Mawlawi Ghulam Haider Shahamat, Director General of the Technical and Vocational Education Authority, met with a delegation from the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) to discuss expanding cooperation in technical and vocational education.
During the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening joint cooperation, enhancing workforce capacity, improving the quality of vocational training, and creating better education and employment opportunities for youth.
The ILO and UNAMA delegation reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperation in relevant areas of technical and vocational education in Afghanistan.
