169 Development Projects Launched in Paktia Province

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has launched 169 development projects in the Zurmat district of Paktia province, with an estimated total cost of approximately 236 million Afghanis.

These projects were officially initiated today during a meeting led by the Acting Minister of the Ministry, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, along with his accompanying delegation.

The meeting organized to mark the launch of these projects was attended by the Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, his delegation, the Governor of Paktia Province, Haji Mehrallah Hamad, the Director of Rural Rehabilitation and Development of Paktia, Mullah Mirza Jan Sadiq, along with several other provincial officials, local religious scholars, elders, and youth from the district.

In the mentioned meeting, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development delivered a valuable speech and said: “This Islamic government has come with many great sacrifices. We must appreciate this government and express our gratitude.

The Minister also highlighted that the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development is committed to balanced development, and considering the available resources, it continues to implement projects in the remote areas of the country.

These projects include the construction of rural roads, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and canals.

During the implementation of these projects, hundreds of workers will be provided with employment opportunities, and upon completion, these projects will help resolve the challenges faced by the residents of the district in the relevant areas.
