The conference, spearheaded by the Central Bank, saw the participation of Mullah Hidayatullah Badri, the head of the Central Bank, alongside local officials from Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar, and Nuristan provinces, as well as numerous businessmen, investors, money changers, and private sector representatives from Nangarhar province. During the conference, Mullah Hedayatullah Badri addressed key topics such as the effective implementation of monetary policies, the promotion of the Afghan currency, support for the banking sector, the modernization of exchange activities and monetary services providers, the advancement of Islamic banking, and other notable achievements of the bank. Mr. Badri underscored the importance of developing Islamic banking and ensuring people’s access to standardized, convenient, and suitable financial services as central priorities for the Central Bank. He emphasized the necessity of coordination among government departments and the earnest cooperation of the public to successfully launch and execute these initiatives.
