Gaza City — The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, announced on Monday that it will release 20 Israeli hostages alive in the coming hours as part of a Gaza ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.
In a statement, the group said the decision was made within the framework of efforts to implement the latest ceasefire deal aimed at halting hostilities and facilitating humanitarian measures in the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also released the names of those set to be freed, including Elkana Bohbot, Matan Angrest, Avinatan Or, Yosef-Haim Ohana, Alon Ohel, Evyatar Davud, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Rom Braslavski, twins Gali and Ziv Berman, Eitan Mor, Segev Kalfon, Maxim Herkin, Eitan Horn, Bar Kupershtein, Omri Miran, and brothers David and Ariel Cunio.
