The General Directorate of Emirates Companies has announced that Ariana Afghan Airlines will soon acquire three charter aircraft to accelerate Afghanistan’s export process.
Ariana Afghan Airlines CEO, Mullah Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, stated that the planes will be either Boeing or Airbus models, with an estimated cost of 25 to 35 million US dollars each.
According to officials, the addition of these new aircraft will reduce transportation costs and enhance Afghanistan’s export capacity to international markets, particularly for fresh and dried fruits.
