During the latest session of the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee on April 30th, deliberations centered around initiatives regarding the establishment of solar and wind energy facilities, commercial hubs, and agricultural complexes. The agenda encompassed proposals for the deployment of 50 megawatts of wind energy infrastructure in Herat province, along with 40 megawatts of solar energy infrastructure in Balkh province. Additionally, plans were outlined for the construction of an underground commercial marketplace in Ghazni province’s epicenter, as well as the establishment of agricultural complexes across five strategic zones nationwide. Moreover, discussions revolved around the blueprint for a commercial marketplace in Kabul. Following comprehensive discourse, designated committees were tasked with assimilating feedback from the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee and conducting collaborative sessions with project-presenting entities. Their mandate includes assessing the financial, technical, and economic dimensions of the proposed endeavors, with reports slated for submission to the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee within stipulated timelines.
