The Daily Report of the Committees

The returning of Afghan refugees into their country through numerous Zero Points are taking place, the committees Staff are trying their level best to help & assist the refugees. Below is the conclusive report of the committees officially appointed to accommodate the returnees.

The list & figures of Afghan Returnees who entered from different Zero Points.

The Number of registered Refugees: 134 families with 491 associates.
The Number of Transported Refugees: 25 families with 145 associates.
The primary assistance & help with Refugees: 89 families.
The number of temporary settled returnees: 141
The total Number of Distributed Mobile SIM Cards: 340

Nangarhar:

Durand Line (Torkham):

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The biometric & registration of 49 families with 115 associates are witnessed.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 45 families obtained 450,000 AFN each as their rent payment.

The Committee for Transport:

The returning 21 families with 124 associates are safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul provinces along with 15,000 as their rent payment.

The Committee for Temporary Settlement of the Returnees:

The returning 45 families are given temporary Shelters at Zero Point.

The Committee of Health affairs & Services:

The 1,000 returnees are given Meals & purified Water in Zero Point Camps, along with 80,000 liters of purified water, Blankets, Carpets, winter Heaters with 60 Packages of raw material are also distributed. The refugees also obtained 171 SIM Cards with free minutes and internet.

The Committee for Mosques & Learning:

The returning refugees are given assurance regarding their children’s future, the Committee’s Staff are trying their level best to provide unflustered environment for students to learn and explore, along with the returning 45 refugee’s Kids are registered for further schooling.

The Committee for Job opportunities:

The committee’s staff located 5 High School Graduates, 1 having graduation from A+ Schools system, 46 individuals with minor skills & 70 with professional skills are witnessed, the basic information to 132 Children about Land mines, personal hygiene and Kids safeguard were also given.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:

The returning refugees are given information regarding public awareness programs. The refugees are requested to preserve passion, gratitude and tranquilities among themselves, in addition, the IOM organization also distributed 25 pages of refugee’s status papers.

Kandahar:

Spin Boldak:

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 30 families with 160 associates through Boldak route are listed.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 30 families obtained 10,000 AFN each.

The Committee for Transportation:

The returning 4 families with 21 associates are safely transported to Kandahar with 8,000 AFN as their rent payment.

The Committee for Temporary Settlement of the Returnees:

The returning 34 families are given temporary Shelters at Zero Point.

The Committee of Health affairs & Services:

Medical: 349 individuals are examined and treated, in addition, information regarding public awareness programs to 287 returnees is given.
Food: The 450 returning refugees are given Meals.
Technology: The refugees obtained 115 SIM Cards with free minutes & internet.

The Committee for Job opportunities:

The Committee’s Staff located 2 High School Graduates, 2 Memorizers of the Holy Quran, 4 Religious scholars, 62 with Minor skills & 20 with Professional skills are witnessed, in addition, basic information regarding Land mines, Personal hygiene, Kids Safeguard and data about Afghanistan in general is given to 8 Kids, along with 3 missing kids are returned to their families.

Zabul Province:

Shamalzo Zero Point:

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 1 family with 10 associates is biometric & registered.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:

The returning refugees are requested to preserve passion, tranquilities and peacefulness while going through the initial steps of the expatriates.

Paktika Province:

Angor Ada Zero Point:

The Committee for Health Affairs & Services:

The 6 returnees are provided health facilities and food to 56 individuals is also arranged.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:
The returning refugees are requested to preserve passion, tranquilities and peacefulness while going through the initial steps of the refugees.

Nimruz Province:

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 54 families with 206 associates and others 1,402 individuals with deportees’ status are registered.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 14 families obtained 140,000 AFN as their rent payment.

The Committee for Temporary settlement of the returnees:

The returning 41 families are given temporary shelters will all necessities of livelihood.

The Committee for Health Affairs and Services:

The returning refugees are given 54 SIM Cards with free minutes and Internet along with, health services to the needy individuals.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:

The returning 206 refugees are given information regarding Public Awareness Programs. The refugees are also requested to remain peaceful and preserve tranquility.

Herat Province:

The Committee for Temporary Settlement of the returnees:

The returning 22 families are given temporary shelters with basic necessities of livelihood.
