During his visit to Badakhshan province, Defense Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, accompanied by Chief of Army Staff Qari Mohammad Fasihuddin Fitrat, visited the seminary of the late Mawlawi Mohammad Amin (RA) in Warduj district.
According to the Ministry of Defense, Mr. Mujahid listened to the concerns and suggestions of the seminary’s officials, teachers, and students, and stressed the importance of strengthening religious education, improving academic standards, and preserving Islamic and national values.
He also described the role of religious scholars and seminaries in the intellectual and moral development of society as vital, reaffirming the Islamic Emirate’s continued support for the development of religious institutions.
