Abdul Rahman Qanit, Deputy Minister for Policy and Programs at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, met with Jeffrey Grego, President of the Afghanistan–US Joint Chamber of Commerce, to discuss ways to attract greater investment to Afghanistan’s mining sector.
According to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, Mr. Grego expressed the Chamber’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at attracting and expanding investment in the country’s mineral resources sector.
Mr. Qanit, in turn, reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to providing the necessary facilities and support for reputable domestic and international companies interested in investing in Afghanistan’s mining industry.
