Kabul Municipality has announced its plans to construct 7 significant roads in Kabul city this year as part of its ongoing development projects. Several of these projects have already commenced and are expected to be completed within the next year.
In line with its commitment to urban development, Kabul Municipality has initiated the construction of a new road stretching from the airport intersection of Kabul Jalalabad highway to the Kamerg area of the 9th district.
Authorities have begun the process of clearing obstacles for this road’s construction and ensuring the rights of the owners of 501 properties affected by the project. Additionally, efforts are underway to address obstacles on the road between Dehmazang and Kothasangi in the third district of Kabul, with 55 properties having been acquired for this purpose and will be compensated in accordance with the law.
The citizens of Kabul have expressed their satisfaction with these projects, noting their potential to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance urban order. Kabul Municipality officials have also confirmed that work is progressing on the construction of 7 important roads, including the second road of Khairkhane Kotal.
