Kabul Municipality has announced that it will implement 233 development projects during the 1405 solar year as part of its annual work program.
According to Mohammad Qasim Afghan, head of planning, policy, monitoring and evaluation at the municipality, the total cost of the projects is estimated at 9.123 billion Afghanis. He added that the funding will be covered through the municipality’s internal revenues.
The planned projects span multiple sectors, including the construction and rehabilitation of roads, development of pedestrian bridges, expansion of green spaces, urban beautification efforts, land acquisition, and other municipal services.
Officials say the initiatives are aimed at improving urban infrastructure and enhancing public services across the capital.
