In a meeting with Alexander Matheou, the head of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for Asia and the Pacific, and his accompanying delegation, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed gratitude for the organization’s services, activities, and cooperation with Afghanistan. He also demanded that the country’s hospitals be equipped with better medical equipment so that the country’s citizens can receive better healthcare.
Additionally, Mr. Muttaqi, requested that this delegation present the world with their accurate portrayal and vision of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, during this discussion, Mr. Matheou, commended the Islamic Emirate’s cooperation with this organization, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and stated that 28 million Swiss francs were utilized to treat 5 million Afghans during natural disasters, provide them with drinking water, and provide health care.
